Island Destinations
launched its Travelers Collection 2007, a nearly 100-page
brochure featuring more than 85 hotels and resorts, including
two new destinations to the portfolio, Dubai and the Maldives.
The new brochure was unveiled at an invitation-only event at The
St. Regis New York on Nov. 2, where more than 200 high-end
travel agents catering to upscale clientele attended. At the
event Island Destinations unveiled the winners of the Travel
Agent Choice Awards, and the President's Award for the Most
Exciting New Destination in Luxury Travel. With exception of the
President's Award, the winners were elected by Island
Destinations' travel agent experts.
The 2006-2007 Travel Agents Choice Awards Winners were:
Resort of the Year: Grace Bay Club;
Romantic Resort of the Year: Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa;
Family Resort of the Year: Four Seasons Resort Maui;
Service Excellence Award: Four Seasons Resort Nevis;
Spa of the Year: Little Dix Bay, A Rosewood Resort;
Culinary Award of the Year: Hotel Guanahani & Spa.
The 2007 President's Award for Most Exciting New Destination in
Luxury Travel is Eden Rock.
Island Destinations also selected the following award winners:
